Noche Blanca is a cultural project that brings together Yucatecan families and tourists from around the world in parks and streets of the historic center of Mérida, Yucatán. Every Noche Blanca is a challenge for SoHo galleries to create a program of events that not only showcase artists from around the globe but, also create a space for the public to participate and on this ocassion we are celebrating 15 years of presence in Mérida, achieving being one of the most recognized galleries in the city. SoHo Galleries has the representation of national and international artists from Cuba, Italy, France, the United States, Israel, Spain and Canada. We have planned a full night of events, the street, in front of the gallery, will be set up for everyone to participate in a variety of workshops with 5 of SoHo galleries’ artists in creating art: Otón Rivera (Durango), Víctor Dávalos (Mexico City), Aries Sarmiento (Spain), Rafa Heredia-Abuxapqui and Layda Rodríguez (Yucatán). From 8:30pm to 9:30pm -Come and create flowers from recycled plastic with Bickthor (bring your own plastic bottle). -Can you imagine flying over the Yucatan from your cell phone? Now you can with aerial photographer Rafa (bring your cell phone). From 8:30pm to 11:30pm -Create your work of art: we supply the materials, all you need to bring is your imagination. -Leave your mark: paint giant letters with artists. From 9:30pm to 11:00pm -Master class “African dance with the Balele group”.Join us Friday November 24th, 2023 at 20:00
